GENERAL TOPSFIELD/MASCO YOUTH SOCCER INFORMATION

U4	Ages 3-4 Coed	Topsfield Only	Sundays 3:30-4pm (Klock Park)	U4 is a fun, instructional league designed to introduce our youngest participants to the game of soccer. We do ask for parental involvement on the field. *Must be 3 years old before September 1st of Fall season to play
U6 (PreK / K)	Ages 5-6 Coed	Topsfield Only	Sundays K: 2-3pm; PreK: 3-4pm	U6 is a fun instructional league designed to introduce our youngest participants to the game of soccer. Children must be entered in a PreK or K program as of September of the fall season. Coaches will guide children through fun skills/drills and some games.
G2	1st and 2nd Grades (Boys and Girls split)	Topsfield Only	Boys: (Spring 2024) TBD Girls (Spring 2024) - TBD	Our G2 program adopts a small sided approach. Games will be intramural 4 v 4, without goalies, ideally with every child touching the ball many times. Some intra-town scrimages with Middleton and Boxford may be planned
G4	3rd and 4th Grades (Boys and Girls split)	Topsfield Teams - Travel	Practice: TBD Games: Saturdays throughout Essex County	Grades 3/4 is a recreational/competitive travel program that participates with the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA). Players are placed on teams based on a tryout or prior season coach evaluation. All players who tryout are placed on a team (no cuts).
G6	5th and 6th Grades	Masco Teams - Travel	Practice: TBD Games: Saturdays throughout Essex County	Grades 5/6 is a recreational/competitive travel program that participates with the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA). Teams merge at this age group with Middleton and Boxford to form Masco Teams. Players are placed on teams based on a tryout or prior season coach evaluations. All players who tryout are placed on a team (no cuts).
G8	7th and 8th Grades	Masco Teams - Travel	Practice: TBD Games: Saturdays throughout Essex County	Grades 7/8 is a recreational/competitive travel program that participates with the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA). Teams merge at this age group with Middleton and Boxford to form Masco Teams. Players are placed on teams based on a tryout or prior season coach evaluation. All players who tryout are placed on a team (no cuts).
G11 and PG	9/10/11 and 12/PG	Masco Teams - Travel	Practice: TBD Games: Sundays throughout Essex County	This age group plays during the Spring season only. Grades 9-12 is a recreational / competitive travel program that participates with the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA). Teams merge at this age group with Middleton and Boxford to form Masco Teams. Players are placed on teams based on a tryout or prior season coach evaluation. All players who tryout are placed on a team (no cuts).

REGISTRATION FEES

You can register for both seasons at once (which includes a discount) or choose to register for individual seasons.

G11 and PG (High School)	$115 / $200 (both)

Registration fees are used for: ECYSA team registration fees, MYSA fees & player/coach insurance, SAFE Soccer/CORI checks, field maintenance and improvements (Topsfield, Middleton, Boxford), training costs, equipment
A digital photo is needed for all participants (players and coaches). If the program does not have a photograph of an individual, an e-mail will be sent to the participants
Late fees ($50) may apply to players registering for travel teams after the teams/players have been submitted to ECYSA for processing
For travel team participants who withdraw from the program and seeking a refund within 30 days of the start of the season, there will be a $25 processing fee.
There are no refunds once the teams have been announcedCoaches also register through SportsPilot. A CORI KidSafe is required for all parent volunteers in TYS. Please contact the CORI Submitter (Steve Russo - steverusso1@yahoo.com to learn of the Mass Youth Soccer CORI process)

UNIFORMS

For the travel Program (3rd grade and up), uniforms can be purchased through our supplier. Topsfield uniforms for Grades 3 & 4; Masco uniform for Grades 5+
