Masco Youth Soccer: Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 Tryouts
Tryouts Objective:
The evaluation process is to help identify the level of competition that will best promote the development of each player. Tryout results are supplemented with coach evaluations from the past season. ALL PLAYERS WILL BE PLACED ON A TEAM.
Format:
TWO tryout dates for each age group/gender. Please try to attend both nights. Notify us of any conflicts at [email protected]
- Players must be registered in order to attend tryouts. Players who are not able to attend tryouts will be placed on a team, but we can't guarantee that we will be able to place them at the appropriate level of competition.
- Independent evaluators from Skillzcheck
- Parents are NOT allowed to attend tryouts and watch. No exceptions. This process can be stressful for the children and we do not want any added anxiety from parents watching and commenting.
- Additional information about tryouts will be shared to registered players via email as the dates approach. For now, please mark your calendars with these dates. If you have not registered, you will not receive the emails.
Schedule (Dates are firm, times are tentative):
- We reserve the right to adjust schedules as we learn of school-related conflicts or logistical hurdles. Please register early so that we can finalize our plans to accommodate the number of registered players.

Equipment: please bring a ball, cleats, shin guards, water. Do NOT wear club soccer uniforms, soccer tournament shirts or team jerseys
Behavior: Foul language and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We will remove players whose behavior interferes with the success of other players and such behavior will be taken into account in our team formation process. Please address expectations for behavior and good sportsmanship with your children ahead of time.
Siblings: Twins or siblings in the same age group will not necessarily be placed on the same team UNLESS parents explicitly ask. If parents wish to keep twins/siblings on the same team, and if they are not at the same level of development, they will be placed at the level of the sibling with the need for a lower level of competition.
